Dr. Mehdi Hamidi Parsa, President of the University of Art and Islamic Thought, is a researcher and lecturer specializing in the philosophy of art and the wisdom of art. He holds a Ph.D. in the Wisdom of Art, a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Art, and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. Alongside his academic education, he has also pursued traditional seminary studies in philosophy, theology, and Islamic studies.

His primary areas of academic and educational activity include the philosophy of art, aesthetics, artistic and literary criticism, film criticism and analysis, narratology, and the relationship between art, religion, and thought. He has more than a decade of experience in teaching and academic activities and has served as President of the University of Art and Islamic Thought since 2023.

He is also active in the fields of fiction and essay writing and has received recognition at several literary events and awards.
