Student Scientific Associations operate in universities with the aim of supporting, strengthening, and promoting scientific culture and ethics in the country’s universities, enhancing the scientific spirit and capabilities of talented and competent students, creating suitable platforms for collective scientific activities, and utilizing their capacities and creativity in achieving scientific development, the movement for knowledge production, and the software movement.

Student Scientific Associations consist of students interested in participating in scientific activities within a specific faculty or academic department. In each university, one Scientific Association can be established corresponding to each academic discipline. If students from two or more fields are interested in forming an interdisciplinary Student Scientific Association, they can proceed to establish one.
