Student Scientific Associations are established in universities with the objectives of supporting, strengthening, and promoting scientific culture and ethics nationwide, enhancing the academic morale and capabilities of talented and competent students, creating suitable platforms for collective scientific activities, and harnessing their potential and creativity to achieve scientific development, advance the movement of knowledge production, and contribute to the software movement. These associations consist of students interested in engaging in scientific activities within a specific faculty or academic department. Each university may establish one Scientific Association per academic discipline. Should students from two or more fields express interest in forming an interdisciplinary Student Scientific Association, they are permitted to proceed with its establishment.
